Season two is currently on hold indefinitely.
Hi, I’m Paul Haynes, your host. Welcome to the International Brotherhood of Freemasonry podcast. I am a Master Mason; currently serving as Junior Warden at Dayton Lodge #103 under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge of Indiana, Free and Accepted Masons. I’m also a member of Clinton Chapter #82 of Royal Arch Masons, Frankfort Council #46 of Cryptic Masons, and Frankfort Commandery #29 of Masonic Knights Templar, and Hope Chapter #5, Order of the Eastern Star. I am married with two children. I currently teach High School Spanish and French, and work part-time as a Medical Interpreter and Translator.
After becoming a Master Mason in 2015, I began to search out masonic research papers and books to learn whatever I could about the craft. I have also learned a great deal from other masonic podcasts such as: Whence Came You?, The Winding Stairs, and the YouTube broadcast: The Masonic Roundtable. I also began to seek out Spanish and French groups and websites; and I’ve begun to learn about how Freemasonry is practiced across the world.
Freemasonry unites men of various religious beliefs and backgrounds. There exists, however, a language and cultural barrier that naturally complicates our efforts to live in solidarity. That is the very purpose of this podcast. I am working to translate and broadcast masonic research papers, current events and other topics related to Freemasonry in order to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood across those linguistic and cultural divides.
We will not divulge anything private or esoteric, but will depend on
information that has been published and distributed for public use. If you have any questions or comments, please send them to: podcastIBF@gmail.com. Look for us on iTunes, Stitcher, podbean, and Podomatic. You can also find us on Facebook, Google+, YouTube and at IBFpodcast.com.
Each monthly episode of the International Brotherhood of Freemasons podcast will bring you information from various English, Spanish and French speaking countries. We will learn about famous and influential Freemasons; hear masonic education pieces from a wide array of authors; discover unique and interesting cultural differences among Freemasons and Masonic lodges. But, most importantly, we will see how practicing Freemasons affect change within themselves and within the communities where they live. So, join me as we learn about... and learn from brother Freemasons from across the globe.
